It's so fast, it doesn't even look real. Objects moving this fast in such a local space don't make sense to the human brain.

it didnt do shit but move around for 30s. when it actually started moving golf balls it slowed down SIGNIFICANTLY

I just completed a 4 day robot service training course at Fanuc in Rochester Michigan. While there we were given a tour of the facility that included this robot. It's interesting to see it on a video but it's quite amazing to stand next to it and watch it demonstrate it's moves while holding a 3500 pound train axle with it's magnetic gripping tool. Wow! And I got to see the longer arm version that can lift complete automobiles.

I would not want to pay the insurance premium at the company using this.

Govt must tax the higher level automation applications to prevent complete destruction of society with funds going to re-training, or to welfare for those with no alternative to lost jobs. Robots helping people or doing hazardous work is fine. Replacing all manual or service jobs is not good for society in general unless former workers have something other way to make a living. Part of the profit from automation must benefit people in ways other than reducing costs. Some good at technical details will lose jobs, others good at heavy duty work will lose. Eventually everyone will be out of a job.
